Artificial Intelligence, climate change, the exploitation of user data, data breeches, multiple gender identities … these are some of the key questions facing businesses today. Such questions are fundamentally ethical, but many businesses lack the philosophical tools for dealing with them.

Robert Rowland Smith is both an Oxford philosopher and a management consultant. He uses his unique combination of skills to help businesses grapple with the big issues.

Robert Rowland Smith is a Quondam Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. He is the author of several books on philosophy, including the bestseller, Breakfast with Socrates, as well as a book on business strategy called The Reality Test. He wrote the popular ‘To Be or Not to Be’ column in the Sunday Times Magazine, which examined moral dilemmas. Since the late 1990s Robert has been advising senior executives from industries as diverse as fashion, banking, construction, and government.
